WBA excludes these companies from scoring because their available disclosure is in languages other than English. They are excluded from both rankings.

This first edition uses the WBA Social Benchmark as a comparable baseline. We reproduce its published scores and add an independent, source-linked watch log. A high score is not an endorsement of everything a company does.

Human rights, decent work, and business conduct cover different responsibilities. WBA’s published area weights are 45%, 33%, and 22%; we use its published total rather than recomputing rounded values.
Separate allegations from findings
New reporting enters a review queue. A reviewed complaint can add a watch flag; a settlement, finding, correction, or verified remediation should be identified as such. Watch flags never rewrite WBA scores.
Make uncertainty visible
No reported news does not mean no misconduct. English-language disclosures, source coverage, and differing company transparency affect the results. Environmental and consumer-outcome scores need further sources.
Preserve the history
Refreshes compare published scores with the previous snapshot. The log records both values and the check time. Equal scores share a rank; alphabetical order only chooses which tied companies appear in the 25-row view.
Geography & comparison groups
Country and region memberships come from WBA’s headquarters filters. WBA regions span several continents, so a separate continent filter is provided. Continent assignments follow UN M49 geographic groupings, with the Americas split into North America (including Central America and the Caribbean) and South America. These are geographic comparison conventions, not statements about a company’s operating footprint or political status.
Source status
The collector checks sources hourly when its schedule is enabled. This page shows the last completed collection; a new check does not imply a new assessment. WBA publishes assessments by benchmark cycle.
